When you register for a locker or contact us, we collect:

• Name, email address, phone number (WhatsApp)
• Password (stored securely, encrypted — never in plain text)
• Cruise details: departure/return dates, port, cruise line, ship, boarding time
• Accommodation details: hotel/Airbnb name and address in Miami
• Notes and referral/partner codes you provide
• Communications with us via WhatsApp, email, or phone

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our third-party partners automatically collect:

• IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (city/region level)
• Pages visited, time on site, and referring website
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4 below)

Payment information

Payment is processed via PayPal and Square. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Our payment processors handle this data under their own privacy and security policies (see the PayPal Privacy Statement and Square Privacy Policy).

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your Miami Cruise Box locker account
• Receive, match, store, and deliver your packages
• Communicate with you about your packages, delivery timing, and account
• Process payments for our services
• Improve our website and services (including via analytics and session-recording tools — see Section 4)
• Send occasional marketing emails about cruise tips and shopping deals, if you subscribe (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse of our services

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers: hosting, payment processing, WhatsApp Business messaging, email delivery, and analytics providers who help us operate our business, under confidentiality obligations.
• Delivery coordination: we may share your name and relevant delivery details with your hotel's front desk or Airbnb host solely to coordinate delivery of your packages.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Miami Cruise Box, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: if Miami Cruise Box is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including tools from Google (Google Ads / Analytics), Microsoft (Bing Ads / Clarity), Meta (Facebook Pixel), and Pinterest, to measure ad performance and understand how visitors use our site.

Session recording: We also use session-recording/analytics tools (such as PostHog and Microsoft Clarity) that may record how you interact with our website (clicks, scrolling, page navigation) to help us improve the site. These tools are configured to avoid capturing sensitive form fields such as passwords where technically possible.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and restricted access to customer data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services and facility are based in Miami, Florida, USA, and your information will generally be processed and stored in the United States. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws different from the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.
