Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the package receiving, storage, and delivery services offered by Miami Cruise Box ("we," "us," "our"). By creating a locker, shipping a package to our address, or otherwise using our services, you ("you," "the customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Miami Cruise Box provides a package receiving, consolidation, storage, and delivery service for customers traveling on cruises departing from Miami-area ports (PortMiami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral). We receive packages shipped to our facility at 215 SW 17th Ave, Suite 306, Miami, FL 33135, on your behalf, and deliver them to your hotel, Airbnb, or the cruise port according to the plan you select.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to open a Miami Cruise Box locker.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information when registering, including your name, contact details, and accommodation address in Miami.
  • Each customer is assigned a unique locker code (format: MB + 4 digits). You are responsible for including this code on all packages shipped to our address. We are not liable for packages that cannot be matched to your account due to a missing or incorrect locker code.

3. Shipping and Receiving Packages

  • You may ship packages to our facility from any US-based online retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and similar).
  • We photograph and log each package upon arrival. You will receive a notification via WhatsApp, email, or your customer dashboard once a package is received.
  • Storage period: Standard storage is up to 21 days from the date of arrival, unless a longer period has been agreed to in writing. Packages held beyond this period may be subject to additional storage fees, returned to sender, or disposed of, at our discretion and after reasonable attempts to contact you.

4. Prohibited Items

You may not ship the following items to our facility:

  • Illegal substances or items prohibited under U.S. federal, Florida state, or local law
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind
  • Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or otherwise dangerous materials
  • Perishable food items (we do not guarantee refrigeration or handling for perishables)
  • Live animals or plants
  • Items violating the customs or import regulations of your destination country, if applicable

We reserve the right to refuse, return, or report any package that appears to violate this policy, without liability to you.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery is available to hotels, Airbnbs, and directly to your cruise port, according to the plan and instructions you provide.
  • You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and timing. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, or by third parties (hotel staff, Airbnb hosts) refusing or mishandling delivery once transferred.
  • If your travel plans change (delayed flight, cancelled cruise, change of accommodation), please notify us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, which may be subject to additional fees.

6. Fees and Payment

  • Service fees are based on the plan selected at registration and are communicated to you via WhatsApp or invoice prior to delivery.
  • Additional fees may apply for: extra packages beyond your plan's allowance, oversized or overweight items, extended storage, expedited delivery, or return-to-sender handling.
  • Payment is due before final delivery of your packages, unless otherwise agreed.
  • All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD).

7. Liability and Limitation of Liability

  • We take reasonable care in handling all packages, including photographic documentation upon arrival and delivery.
  • We are not the carrier. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage that occurs during transit to our facility (i.e., before the package arrives with us). Claims for in-transit loss or damage should be directed to the original shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon Logistics, etc.).
  • Our liability for packages while in our possession is limited to the lesser of: (a) the declared value of the item, or (b) $100 USD per package, unless optional insurance has been purchased for the item.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to missed cruise departures, lost vacation time, or emotional distress, arising from delays, loss, or damage to packages.
  • Optional insurance is available upon request for high-value items; ask our team for details and pricing.

8. Damaged or Missing Packages

  • If a package arrives at our facility already damaged, we will document it with photographs and assist you in filing a claim with the original carrier.
  • If you believe a package has gone missing while in our custody, please contact us within 3 days of your expected delivery date so we can investigate.

9. Returns

We can assist with returning items to Amazon or other retailers via UPS or USPS drop-off, for an additional service fee. We are not responsible for the retailer's return policy, refund timing, or acceptance of the return.

10. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your locker registration at any time before shipping any packages, at no charge.
  • Once packages have been received on your behalf, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already incurred, but we will work with you to arrange delivery, storage, or return of your items.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
